Our Parish Ministries

We welcome you to join us in our parish ministries. There are many great ways to get involved!

Parish Council

The Parish Council is composed of faithful men and women and dedicated Orthodox Christians who sacrifice their time, talents, and resources for the Church. We represent the parish, as clergy and laity together, and seek to fulfill the mission ascribed to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We are always seeking new members to help us fulfill our mission and look forward to you joining us to share your talents!

Acolytes

We are always seeking boys and men who can serve in the altar assisting our parish priest before, during and after services.  If you (or your sons) can help, please let our parish priest know of your interest and join our acolyte team!

Children's Programs

  • Church School

The Church Sunday School program for preschool and Grades K-12 children fosters spiritual learning through age-appropriate lessons, including an introduction to church feasts, fasts and liturgical practices, prayers, Bible stories, crafts and projects, and liturgical songs.  Classes typically start toward the end of Divine Liturgy in our Hellenic Hall classrooms.  Among many other activities, the Church School teachers and children have traditionally produced an annual Christmas pageant which the entire community enjoys.  We look forward to your children participating!

  • GOYA

The Greek Orthodox Youth Association (GOYA) is a youth ministry group for middle and high school age children.  During a typical meeting, we gather at our Hellenic Hall to share a meal, discuss our faith and life, and do fun group activities or plan service projects.  Throughout the year we have service opportunities for those seeking to complete school or Boy and Girl Scouting service requirements.  Join us!

Adult Classes

The parish often offers Adult Bible Study and Greek language classes to meet the needs and interests of our parishioners and other interested adults.

Local Community Outreach

The parish organizes outreach programs throughout the year to help the needy in our local community including:

  • Community Kitchen
  • Tiny Tummies
  • The Giving Tree

Fellowship

Our parish members enjoy each other's company and typically meet after Divine Liturgy for a light meal and fellowship.  Events such as Greek Dances, Feast Day dinners, and parish picnics keep our community tight-knit.  We also work together as a community to raise funds to fulfill our mission through our Greek Pastry Sales, Christmas Bazaars and Greek Festivals.  We invite you to join us in all of these activities!
